Unused variables showing in export

Hello,

I had created a protocol and wanted to make a few changes to it. I wanted to keep the older version in case I change my mind so I made a duplicate of it and made changes to the newer version (i.e version 2 is a modification of version 1).

I tried a few interviews with the version 2 and what I have noted is that the data comes with some variables from version 1 which I had deleted in version 2. Is there a solution to this?

Hello again

Did you delete the variables in the second version of your protocol? All variables you define will be exported regardless of if you use them or not.

To check for unused variables, use the “manage codebook” button on the main timeline screen:
