Hello. I am working on a collaborative research project with multiple researchers and am finishing up my section of the research, so handing in my laptop where the NC program is locally saved. I am wondering if there is any way to export the full program as it is saved on my device, such as on a USB stick or on the cloud, so that my co-researchers can access the sociograms and responses in its original form. IN SUM: Is it possible to save a copy of the entire Network Canvas Interviewer programme to another device/platform? This would mean exporting the software and not just the individual data sets. Many thanks for your help.

What you are asking for is technically possible, but quite complex. You would need to save the app’s data folder somewhere, and then restore it in the new location on each new device.
Can I ask why you would want to do this, vs simply exporting the data? The sociogram layouts can be reconstructed from the node coordinates.
Hello and thank you for taking the time to help me. The reason for saving the NC Interviewer program is simply that it gives my co-researcher a way to check that the coordinates/data she has used in UCINet match what the participants have made in NC Interviewer. For her surveys, she can just jump back into NC Interviewer, but my surveys will otherwise disappear with my laptop. Indeed, this is not obligatory and we can export the individual datasets, but it would make the research analysis easier and provide a way to double check the work. Thank you!
I can see the logic, for sure. The one thing I would say is that the sociogram is using the same source of data as the exported data would contain. So in other words, whatever is shown on the sociogram is the same thing that is being included in the exports.
